St. Jeor NUTRITION ASSOCIATES, PLLC MISSION: St. Jeor Nutrition Associates was established to bring an interdisciplinary team of experts in the field of weight management together to educate, train and encourage RDNs to be proactive in promoting healthy diet and nutrition practices while discouraging harmful fads and diet/nutrition recommendations.     Improving the understanding and application of energy balance (weight maintenance) as the first step to promote smaller changes on which to build sustainable therapeutic interventions is needed.  Special programs and tools to individualize nutrition assessments and dietary recommendations are essential to changing the paradigm for successful outcomes.   VISION: Creating a new generation of dietitians who are equipped, staged and motivated  to improve diet and nutrition recommendations and to lead the interdisciplinary  team with advances in technology, information and best practices will enhance client outcomes.      VALUE: Consumers will benefit from healthier, sustainable diet. nutrition  and lifestyle recommendations and be more successful in their own weight management.  The comprehensive nutrition assessment will cover individual differences and the health professional team will be more successful in working together.   RDN practices will be include technological advances, new information and research opportunities.  Importantly the practice and stature of the RDN will be enhanced with  renumeration.  DBA  GenQuest NUTRITION MISSION:  GenQuest Nutrition will develop, introduce new tools, products and methods that will encourage enhanced nutrition assessments and personalized assessments.  By encouraging interdisciplinary collaborations,  a unified and more standardized effort will encourage applications and advances in the field.  VISION:   New methods will be encouraged and practical tools will be identified to conduct a more comprehensive assessment in the field.   A portable tool kit and office will enable more practitioners to be accessible in the field.  Technological advances and information will encourage state-of-art practices to improve outcomes.  VALUE:   Consumer will benefit from more proactive RDNs addressing fads and harmful practices.  Self-pay for professional services will be competitive with popular fads.   Healthier outcomes will be evidenced by promoting energy balance first on an individualized level.   The diet market will be self- directed into healthier practices.
